The Ultra Wedding (2005)

A group of individuals, deprived of all personal memories, are kept in an abandoned hospital. They relentlessly play a fatal and mysterious game of crashing realities and identities as dictated by spinning wheels of fortune, the demanding game masters, and her divinity - the Goddess. The players do not know who is behind the game, only that the winner will survive this time and move on. Struggling to please their masters in ever-changing rounds of the game, the desperate players fight fearlessly, while the guests place their bets and cheer for their favorites. The Ultra Wedding transferred ‘The Game’ structure to the interior of an abandoned hospital in Cordoba, Argentina, each spin of the wheels dictating themes and constellations of play. Within the complex construction of rituals created by The Game is a harsh satire, analyzing power structures and archetypal representations in pop-culture.
